This house is a bit of a dream come true. I first visited the island around 2016 or 2017 and the idea took root in my mind. After many twists and turns and a long renovation, it was finally finished in 2025. The house is in a quiet part of the island, but still close to the harbour – it takes about 7 minutes to walk there, so you're just a short distance from all the shops, restaurants, beach bars and boats leaving for more distant beaches.
The over 100-year-old stone house has been carefully renovated with great attention to detail. It has air conditioning (although you won't need it on the ground floor most of the year) and can sleep four people in two separate bedrooms with an additional bed in the living room. There is also one bathroom with a toilet. All rooms boast stunning views of the gardens, the sea, the harbour and the Peloponnese.
From the narrow alleyway, you'll reach a small courtyard with a great view. You can also get to the main entrance of the house from the courtyard, and go down the stairs to one of the three terraces.
The living area, with seating, a bed, a wood-burning stove, access to the master bedroom, bathroom, and beautiful views, is reached through the main entrance.
The master bedroom's got a double bed, a desk, and, best of all, access to two extra terraces – the one above the bedroom's great for sunbathing.
On the ground floor, which you can get to from an internal or external staircase, you'll find a kitchen with everything you need, a dining room, a small bedroom, and access to the main terrace.
Facilities:
- The living room has seating for four to five people and a wood-burning stove for use in winter only. There is also a bed with a width of 100 cm.
- Master bedroom: double bed, desk, air conditioning
- Bedroom: bed (width 140 cm), small dressing area, air conditioning.
- Kitchen: gas stove, combination oven, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and crockery.
- Dining room: Table for four people, air conditioning
- Bathroom: Shower, toilet
- Three terraces, each with a sea view.
- Other features: Wi-Fi, washing machine, iron and ironing board, and towels. There is no TV in the house, but you can rent a projector with the option of connecting to most TV and streaming platforms.
The house is located about a 7-minute walk from the harbour (flat terrain with a very slight incline and 40 steps). If necessary, we can arrange luggage transport, but this must be agreed before arrival. Please note that the house is not suitable for children under 10 years of age (steep stairs in the house an yard)
